WELCOME TO EIGHT LIVES LEFT KITTEN (AND CAT) RESCUE

We are a small, family run organisation who dedicate our time to promoting good welfare practices for cats and to helping those cats and kittens in our care back to health, so that we may find them a new loving forever home.

We specialise in the hand rearing of infant and orphaned kittens. Every kitten deserves a long life and loving home and we are there to help those who do not have the best start in life.

However, we also take in the occasional adult cat that has fallen on bad times; usually ones that other rescues refuse to take and we are the "owners" last hope. Adult cats can be just as much a joy as kittens and remember all kittens only turn into cats!

We would emphasis that WE DO NOT SELL kittens. Our kittens are ADOPTED and the old addage applies, a cat is FOR LIFE. Kittens are very cute and cuddly but they all grow up and become adult cats.

All kittens are quarantined when they first arrive and the really young ones spend their first few weeks in specially designed veterinary Intensive Care Units, to ensure that no nasty diseases are passed to or from them.

Once they are given the all clear, they are carefully introduced to the residents, who teach them cat etiquette and prepare them for a happy and healthy life in a loving home. Kittens are also introduced to Lottie and Scooby, two of our terriers - so our kittens can be homed with well behaved dogs.

Taking a kitten into your life is not a decision to be taken quickly or lightly. ALL our babies are very precious to us so please do not be offended if we seem rather over protective when you first enquire about re-homing. Please read our Adoption section for further details.

to help towards the high care costs of the cats at Eight Lives Left Cat & Kitten Rescue.

We are also always looking for items that can be sold at Car Boot Sales, which we attend regularly in the Summer to boost out funds.

If you have any items that need collecting, please contact us and we will arrange to pick them up.
